SPREEPARK
Spreepark was an amusement park in Berlin, situated along the Spree River, open since the late 1960s when it was then known as Kulturpark Plänterwald. It was abandoned in the early 2000s by owners who owed massive debts and subsequently fled the country, leaving most of the attractions behind.
These photos were taken in the summer of 2010, when on a trip to Berlin, I heard about a beautiful forsaken amusement park being reclaimed by nature and found a way to sneak in.
In 2014, a fire destroyed much of what was left.
